1. Think of every TeniMyu actor to ever grace the stage. Who do you think managed the most canonical characterization? Who is the most like their character in real life?

 

Kazuki as Atobe, I know that might sounds strange, but the way I felt when I first read about Atobe was the way I felt about Katobe when I first saw him on stage, then I saw him almost make out with Shirota and that feeling went away. (It was a what a good villain sort of feeling)

I hated that he wasn't in the movie. 

IRL: Setomaru - apparently the 3rd casts think so too. Although I've not watched alot of the 3rd cast from what I've seen, he's bouncy and acrobatic and it's hard to not like him same way i like Eiji

 

 

2. What about D-Boys do you find most attractive? (And no, naming a boy does not count. I'm talking about personality traits, characteristics, here!)

 

I'll only do a few. I'm not sure if this was what you meant...

 

Shirota, initially when I saw him as Tezuka he seemed pretty serious, but, then I saw the backstages, such an idiot.

But, what really made me like him was hearing the way everyone else spoke of him. At first I thought well maybe he bribed them to say nice things, but, there's uniformity in their opinions.

 

Yanagi, actually from reading his blog struck me as pretty smart. But, he's a final fantasy fan, that won me over... ok and the peeing himself entry.

 

Adachi, how seriously he takes himself as an actor

 

Kaji, I was telling someone on my f-list the other day, it was the way he would interact with fans on his blog.

 

I'll stop there, but, all of the guys seem pretty genuine, I like all of them A LOT, I’ve even started liking Tomo a little. Honestly, there are very few fans that piss me off in this fandom and that's one of the best things

 

 

3. You have a chance to go through time and see any TeniMyu showing ever, or any D-Boys event. What would you see, and why?

 

D-Stage Vol. 1 lol actually I'd like my own personal fan event where we all sit around and I torment them, I'm more of D-boys/POT manga fan than a tenimyu fan, although, seeing (in person) Shirota, Adachi and the rest cry like little girls at their cast graduation would have been priceless.

 

 

4. What do you love about the city where you live?

 

Nothing. Garden city my foot.

 

5. What superpower would you want, if you could have any?

 

Ahhhh.... Invisibility. Because that would make stalking much easier?

I would have said flying, but, I have this fear of bugs, all bugs, even butterflies, oh the shame.

Last night, the rest of my family were going out for a drive, I wanted to stay home and watch tv, but, I agreed to go.

In the yard, a dragonfly flew into me and got stuck in my hair, I cried and screamed, it was so embarassing!

My father told me it out even though it wasn't and I could hear it. somehow my family thought i was laughing and not crying so they were laughing too.

But, the worst part, the neighbours saw T_T

I totally commiserate with you! I hate it when bugs get on me, I screamed like mad and started panicing when there was a spider on me in the kitchen xD I was screaming "Get it off OMG OMG OMG!" lol, my mum and brother were laughing their heads off.

About Tenimyu, I totally agree with you, I'm more interested in PoT and D-Boys, but it was because of PoT that I got curious about Tenimyu and at that time it during the 2nd cast's run, and I was blown away by the 'guy' that played Tezuka. I was like, who is that? He's hot AND he can sing xD And that's who I got into Tenimyu/D-Boys/2ndCast, because of Shirota. Then I found out that literally more than half of the 2nd cast Seigaku was made up of D-Boys, saw their antics backstage and it's been <3 since then.

I think what made me love Kaji was because he was so much like Momo, and Momo's my favorite TeniPuri character :) Plus, I think his acting talent is one of the better ones in the entire D-Boys group, sometimes even excelling Shirota's (and what I mean by this is, Kaji's angry scenes are more acted out than Shirota's).

I liked MovieAtobe xD For some reason KazukiAtobe creeps me out. It's that stupid wig, makes him look like an alien ^___^

and I love PoT.. lol nothing.. also got me to like shirota more was because he played my most fave character in tenipuri seigaku no buchou TEZUKA KUNIMITSUyes i have a thing for stoic, brilliant, handsome, charismatic anime characters... tezuka of tenipuri, byakuya of bleach, rukawa kaede of slamdunk, ryousuke of initial d, etc

the strange thing about PoT, I had liked Hyotei more than Seigaku, but of course I want Seigaku to win. Man, I wish i'd win the lottery and get to see dream live 5 even if it's third cast

I don't like Minami as Tezuka alot, but, Aiba's still there (at least I hope he'll still be there)

Once I was eating a sweet potato, and you know, we have to peel the skin off? I was just peeling it, then I saw (what I thought was) a piece of sweet potato skin on my leg. I was about to brush it off when a closer look revealed that IT WAS BIG BLACK BLOODY (not literally) MOTH! I got up and started screaming and jumping like a maniac. x_x

now to yanagi, he once had a final fantasy like series of posts. each week was a different "boss", which was actually a person from the the watanabe office, igarashi is an FF fan too, he bought a cologne with was a final fantasy potion.

hahaha now the peeing himself bit, once he posted an entry about a sleep over he had at kimeru and he got up and went to the bathroom and forgot to pull his pants down then went back to bed and slept. next morning he realized what happened and told kimeru, i don't remember clearly but kimeru told him something about being an old person? and he said something about the air was filled with the smell of clorine? b/c he sprayed alot of febreeze.

It's funny - a lot of your answers are pretty similar to what I think. Although, I can't take KAtobe seriously now, thanks to nekonezumi... He still was perfect for that role. And your comments about Setomaru, too - he almost seems like Eiji incarnate sometimes!

Sheesh, just reading your comment about Adachi was enough almost to make me cry. I didn't become a fan of D-Boys until after he'd already left the group, but somehow I still miss him in there, so much!!! Just from watching him in TeniMyu, and DD-Boys, he makes me think of the little brother I never had... He's the only actor/idol I've ever followed where I think I do take things aimed at him very personally - maybe because he seems so extremely self-conscious. Have you ever wanted to just not let anything bad happen to someone, ever? Like life should just be ice cream and manga and funny movies for that person, forever? That's Adachi for me, and it's nice, sometimes, to be reminded that he wasn't all just self-conscious and mildly embarrassed, that he really took acting seriously, and gave his all for it.

Do you think that movie of his will ever be released?

Don't cry, you'll get my lj all wet, ok i'm lame.
But, I really like knowing other people feel that way about adachi and not just me and my sister. Especially the "Have you ever wanted to just not let anything bad happen to someone, ever?" b/c i feel that way about yanagi and adachi.
I think Kaji would make an awesome brother too, but, I don't want to save him.

1- I completely agree with you- KAtobe had me believing he was Atobe- until DL3 then he became Kazuki. But I still liked him. Though personally I am more of a Nagayan fan- Seto did an incredibly job in his Kikumaru role.

2- *nods* Though I didn't know that about Kaji I can easily believe it.

3- *snickers* Priceless indeed.
