(Tokyo Friends Park II) Guests: Nakamura Yuichi, Suzuki Hiroki, Araki Hirofumi, etc
During “Quiz, Body and Mind”, Nakamura is asked for “the names of comics intended for girls”.
Here, Nakamura reveals that he is nuts about the lead of "Good morning" called, Nao Yoshikawa.
On seeing his mad display, Suzuki advises, “(You) probably didn’t notice but everyone here is disturbed!!”. [2]

I’m sure we’ve all had times when we just want to step slowly away from our friends.

It’s just changing clothes, but, it feels like living a different person’s life.
Usually, I’m not someone that is into anime [1], but, I’m linked with Gundam 00 by a mysterious fate.
One day, I wasn’t really watching anything of interest when by chance episode one aired.
The main character’s a black haired guy right?
I had that same black hair, so when I came into the studio, I thought I’d be wearing his costume. I was surprised it turned out to be Lockon!!
The biggest thing was en route to the studio, in Shibuya, I kept encountering vans promoting the DVD of the anime.
I was thinking, “Oh the DVD is finally on sale” when I got a call from my manager, “This time you’ll be doing a shoot for a “00” cosplay”.
I really felt this was fate ne.
This shoot has fired up my interest in the story and world of “00” .
I want to see all the volumes of the DVD.
Actually, doing this full-blown cosplay is a first for me.
It’s the reappearance of a character from the original works.
Wearing colour contacts, that was my first experience.
One thing that surprised me, the way the contact lense fit into my eye.
In the past, I’ve challenged them once, but,opening my eyes are much as I could, those contact lenses were big!!
But, if I got (someone) to put them in, they’d go in, it wasn’t a physical problem but a test of willpower. (laugh).
Challenging cosplay, I understood the fun in it.
I could forget my regular self, there’s a really liberating feel to becoming a completely different person.
It’s just changing clothes, but, it feels like living a different person’s life.
After going to such lengths to become Lockon, I wanted to try shooting Gundam 00.
With my outwards appearance changed, perhaps my performance might change.
I think being reborn as a new person, you might throw away your fixed notions.
(With) things that you might not usually think of, I might be able to give a new (type of) performance.
This summer, I’m focusing on a daily event with the other members of D-boys in Akihabara!!
But, I’m not cosplaying (laugh)
I designed the T-shirts we’re wearing so definitely (come and) let’s wear it together!

Nakamura Yuichi
Despite losing weight, a macho body is (still) impossible.
Since I started going to the gym, I’ve lost weight and my body has become considerably firmer. My metabolism is steadily increasing. Recently I’ve just been walking, but, I become drenched in sweat. (laugh)
I go to the gym about 2 times a week, I’ll listen to songs that put me into the mood on my IPod and put on my sauna suit and do weight training.
Before when I began, I drank a calorie-burning drink and I sweated a ton. When it’s over I drink a lactic-acid drink. After I have dinner I’ll drink Black Oolong tea.
I’ve come to like healthier foods than before. Except for tomatoes and cucumbers I’ve conquered my hatred for vegetables. I can even eat brightly coloured vegetables.
As for my muscles too, I’ve come to care more about my figure than before, I check the mirror a lot now.
Like after I eat to see if my stomach is sticking out or not. (laugh)
When I tried to pinch my stomach muscles between my fingers, I was surprised that I couldn’t.
That IXA-cise is my way (laugh) [1]
At home, when I look in the mirror, the way the lights fall, it looks like my muscles have split and I feel totally happy. [2]
I want it to be so that even though I have slim figure, when I take off my clothes a macho figure is revealed.
If I were to pick a D-boy’s figure, it would be Araki.
I’m aiming to have that sort of muscularity.
Mood is definitely important. If you’re conscious of “I want to tighten here”, “I want to slim” then you will come to change your eating habits.
As for girls who want to shape up, I think that’s normal.
With hipbones, I like the line that’s there. I think it’s ideal if the hipbone is sticking out just a little. I like my own too. It’s kinda cute. (laugh)
The part of a girl’s body that I like, collarbones.
It’s good if it’s sunk in just a little right?
After that, I definitely like looking at legs.
I like X legs[3] . The pigeon-toed way of walking is nice.
This summer I will be working hard at the D-boys produced event “NatsuDoko”.
I’ll be going everyday so I hope you come.
This time I designed the T-shirt that everyone’s wearing.
The chest there’s one point, there’s also a spangle on the sleeve.
It was made to suit my taste.
It will be sold at the assembly hall, then the second time you come you can wear it.
Then, please buy it for your friends or family. (laugh).
This summer come and enjoy yourself with us!

Seto Kouji
What I like about my body, my long arms.
I have the type of body that’s hard to gain muscle. I do weight training but upper body is perfectly skinny.
Throughout my body, the part with the best muscles are… my legs (laugh).
Elementary, middle school, I was always playing soccer so I guess I have soccer muscles.
Now too, if I were (to flex), my leg muscles would show.
During middle school, I had no muscles, but I would still say things like “Look” and show off my muscles.
The guys around me would say, “Skinny”.
My figure hasn’t changed at all since then. I guess I’ve gotten taller.
Right now, I’m not doing anything in particular to gain weight.
A little before, drank protein drink and I did sit-ups and push-ups, but, I totally didn’t gain any muscle.
Usually, my favourite fashion would be tight pants and tops. I guess my body shape right now is right for these.
The body I yearn for, that’s One Piece’s Luffy. It’s thin, but, when he’s fights it’s completely awesome.
Only that could be the body I’d possibly aim for.
What I like about my body, my long arms.
This alone is the only thing that resembles Luffy’s a little.
(When) speaking of summer, it’s the beach and the pool.
But I’ll get sunburn so I can’t go ne.
If I wasn’t doing this work, I’d definitely go. I could have gone to even an indoor pool I guess, but, I was shooting for Otomen. While shooting I was plastered all over with sunblock cream. Shooting on location during summer is hard.
But rather than that, this summer we’re sending off an extremely “hot summer”.
It’s already started, but, at the Akiba Plaza in Akihabara, Tokyo, there’s the D-boys event, “Kotoshi no natsu wa mainichi dokoka de D-boys Ukiuki yatta hohoihoi”
We’re doing an event with a really long title.
Us, D-boys members, are doing plays, talks, singing and dancing.
It’s has the mood sort of like a school arts festival.
On August 4th, there’s “Seto’s special day”, please look forward to it from now, although, it hasn’t been decided what we’re doing as yet, but, I’m just hoping people come.
I can’t go to the beach this summer, but there’s the D-boys event so with all my heart I’ll have even more fun.

I have no idea, Yuichi's one of the only bodies I thought were really nice. I love Araki but, I preferred Yuichi's arms, etc. Although if he got a six-pack I wouldn't complain.
I don't usually translate Seto's stuff, but when I read about him flexing despite being a stick I couldn't stop smiling. It's the sort of thing my sister and I would do. I really want to rob a bank with him.
