I missed D-boys be ambitious. Again. Fortunately fila took screencaps so I could squee over.
Will try to watch tomorrow.
Most importantly, Yanagi's biography is being translated.
If you ever want to do anything for me, it would be to read that...and buy it?

Watched Joker. But, not all at once. I had a very busy week at work and even when I came home on Thursday I had to go again and didn't come home until late. Then yesterday we had to go over to that branch again and the head of the organization came in and made a speech on camera and it was nice, although, it wasn't fully working. It's fully working now and next week we're supposed to meet with the press. I do not want to do this, I really hope the head of our department will go.... lol Forgot that I was supposed to be talking about the show.

I like it! As we expected Ryo's character was supposed to provide comic relief. But, I had noticed he was supposed to be a genius/tensai/whatever and it pretty much played out the way in the drama. I want to write more about this and certain flaws (although watching CSI, Law and order, NCIS, bones, etc hardly makes me an expert at crime-related dramas). Perhaps when the entire show is over.

So Jin's not in KAT-TUN anymore.
And I was going to write my thoughts but, instead I'll write about what pisses me off.
Now 2chan is a deep dark hole where people hide behind the anonymity to just be nasty.
It's really funny to read most of it, like "Kamenashi will become a pro-baseball player" and there's always the ASCII art

I don't know if it's supposed to be funny, as in just an excuse to use "YOU" like Johnny does. Or if that person needs meds.

I'll just distract myself with Moyashimon and this club8 thing.

Edit: This post sounded too sane. I want Jaejoong from DBSK to have babies with Channaka. I do.

First, Jaejoong can't have babies with Channaka. Arayan has a death grip on him and isn't letting go.

Second, thank you so much for linking to the Yanagi translation! I am delighted as can be!

Third, that was the best 2chan ASCII art I have ever seen. I can't figure most of it out, but just assume it has something to do with penises.

Fourth, the whole Jin thing is the best Johnnys news ever. I'm eager to see which way it plays out. I have my extra large tub of popcorn right here even.

Fifth, work is why we are fangirls. Because work is hell and idols are fabulous.

1. But, since Jaejoong looks like Yuichi, then Araki might be fooled... oh no but then Araki might impregnate Jaejoong instead of Yuichi. Randomly there's a guy in DBSK that reminds me of Araki, from some angles.

2. As I was telling Stefy, it's really a relief to hear him be so honest. He usually is, but, this is still different.

3. It's because lj doesn't use a fixed width font and I'm too lazy to change my code.

4. I wish him the best, I've poked a lot of fun at KAT-TUN over the years, but, they've grown on me. There will be a whole new set of fans that didn't know KAT-TUN when Jin was in it.

Academically, I am very strongly interested in disability studies, so, even if I wasn't a D-Boys fan, I'd be craving to read his book. And since I am, and am able to read a nice translation, I am thrilled. See? I'm doing my happy dance right now. Don't tell me it looks like I've been drinking and am trying to just keep from falling over. That is my happy dance and I'm sticking to that explanation.

I could see the ASCII just fine on your lj. It's when I go to 2chan that it is impossible to decipher. But I usually run it through google translate to make skimming for names faster for me, so, maybe that's the problem. At any rate, yeah. Penises.

That pose is called a "crunch." But I suppose it is good prep for his Mori Ran Maru role. Ahem.

God, you missed the whole Seto Exercises on His Bed bit. He was very careful to make sure that the viewers would be able to see exactly how the exercise is done and how manly he looks doing it. Man, now I want an "Exercising with Seto" show.

Oh, I told you I am old, right? I'm a professional academic dilettante.

We definitely need someone to get cracking on the photoshopping. I foresee a whole series of potential partners, sort of like paper dolls but for the hopelessly debauched. Fortunately for Seto, I don't have that kind of time or talent.
