This year really passed in the blink of an eye.
And now, I'm returning home!
Tomorrow we're going to try our hardest for Kakushi gei so I hope you didn't miss it!
And when this date changes in about two hours and forty-five minutes and then the "Pink Carpet" will air on FujiTV.

The photo is the Chinese Yam soba noodles that my grandfather makes for the new year. ☆
I think that this is the best soba in the world.

Last year, with all of the fans' support, I was able to do work.

I want to make use of all of the things I gained last year, I want to try my hardest.

If I've been able to bring (even) a little happiness to everyone, then I'm happy.

I want to work much much harder at studying.

This year, I hope for everyone's good health, that you'd be healthy every day and that I get to spend some time with your smiling faces.

From the bottom of my heart, that's what I wished for.

[Note from ore-chan: Please, please please don't expect your future  Japanese boyfriends to ever tell you these sort of things. I've read through all of the D-boys entries and I was going to translate them all but got side-tracked by what could only be called porn and really none of them are like this. Tomo's entries are always sweet but really nothing like this. I'm pretty sure he spent a lot of time thinking this out. Shirota's entry last year was more reflective, but if you know Shirota and know that kakushigei was live, then you know he didn't sleep very much last night and he had his whole I feel so guilty that I'm so blessed post about a week ago. ]

EDIT: Because I need to semi-flail publicly, Handa Kento along with Shirota, will be two of the new hosts for All night nippon. WEEEE.

Ha! I already use dozo yorushiku onegaishimasu regularly when I'm in Japan. I wanted the more polite form because I'm older (I'll be in a walking frame by the end of the year, I bet), obvious gaijin and helpless (and therefore wanting maximum goodwill from the people that I meet), meeting respectable people (when I'm not stalking Yanagi).

Oh, Yanagi. Even adding chan to yorushiku. You neko-chan, you.
