It's been one year since I started butchering translations for Shirota and Yanagi on the internet.

To err.. mark this occasion I'm going to start doing Shirota's monthly column in Wink Up. Here's Volume 1.
Right now, it’s Shirota Yuu, whose head is full of stuff from the musical Sweeney Todd.
From this month, I’ll be under your care through this series.

This is the first time, so I’ll start by talking about my recent work, I’ll be appearing in Sweeney Todd in the comedic role of Anthony Hope. [1]
Entirely free and happy. That type of kid ne.
Recently, when I read the script, a good young man [2],
this image is sharply reflected in his speech etc, however, in
(Miyamoto) Amon-san’s version is entirely different from this.
It’s been about one year since I did a stage performance. Of course, being in a play is fun, but, (being in front of a live audience) is scary.
I totally don’t want to mess up!
What would I do if I skipped one of my lines or song lyrics?
I (keep) having these negative thoughts!
It’s probably not noticeable, but, I have these pretty negative thoughts ne (laugh)
But, they’re in private.
For example, let’s say there’s a girl I like and we exchange e-mail addresses and telephone numbers.
I’ll have thoughts like “What if I send a mail and she doesn’t reply?”
“I want to call but…what would we talk about?”
It’s like eventually, I won’t be able to do it *bitter laugh*
Ahh, What kind of talk is this? Ummm…. *laugh*
Ah yes! The stage ne!
It’s this type of thought I’ve been having, yesterday, at rehearsals, I acted freely without thinking, then I was told “Shirota-kun, those were the lyrics corrected before”.
I really hadn’t noticed at all that I was singing different lyrics. *laugh*
Well, even continuing with such unchanged errors, the piece of work itself is undoubtedly interesting.
(With) that alone, I hope that I can get many people to watch it.
And! There’s also the drama, “Haken no Hinkaku” [3]
I’ll be appearing as the half Spanish, half Japanese Amaya Ryuto.
The character is very Spanish. [4]
He has a very modern feel to him.
“It’s good even if I only enjoy today”, that type. *laugh*
That reminds me, this is the first time I’ll be appearing as a regular on a weekly drama.
It was my dream from before to be a regular on a weekly drama, so meeting this, I’m extremely happy.
Because from the first act of “Sweeney”, I’ll be doing them side by side, I can’t be careless.
I guess I’ll have to pay attention to my health while trying my hardest!

The guitar I received from my father back in the day.
This guitar was mine from the second year of middle school. It came to me from my father by the way of my older brother. *laugh*
Then, reading books, trying my hardest to remember chords, somehow I managed a song.
After that, up to now (with) songs I’ve made myself have stemmed from this guitar.
I could never replace it!
As long as possible, I think I’ll be playing this guitar.
Oh, by the way, I’m really bad at playing the guitar.
After roughly 7 years, and I still can’t play anything other than the basic chords…. Not funny. *laugh*

[1] I think he meant more along the lines of it beginning comedic relief than Anthony being an idiot (“boke”).
[2] Literally, but, I think this is what the love interest is usually called.

[4] Wasn't sure how to phrase this, it literally says "Spanish blood enters in", but, it means something more along the lines of the character embracing his Spanish roots.
[5] It says something more like “introduction to private”
[6] 昔父 I have no idea what a "former father" is! Ex-father? I assume he means Rina's dad? MAYBE? So, I've decided there should be a comma ("昔, 父")I'm disoriented.
I feel pretty bad about not posting. I'll try my best for this entire week to post once a day, the next post will be a Yanagi x Endo Duet article requested by Stefy. Then a hugeeee backload of Shirota entries, then Yanagi and then Endo, another Everyone luuurrves Shirota, then Volume 2 of "How are you?". Damn I should have used bullets. Then that Duet one with Yanagi and Endo in Shibuya AND Then I'll update my master blog lists which have been woefully neglected. Open to suggestions as to what to do with my LJ.

Bunch of new dramas for everyone. Everyone is doing pretty well. D-stage sold out.I'm sure i'm missing something important, but, I just can't remember :/
